The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and client-centric Senior Integrations Solutions Engineer/Architect to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will be the primary technical bridge between our clients, our sales team, and our product/engineering teams. You will be an integral part of our small but growing integrations hub in India, collaborating with local peers while working with a global team.
You will be the subject matter expert responsible for designing sophisticated integration solutions that connect our clients' HR technology stacks with Veritone Hire's AI-driven programmatic advertising platform. Your success in this pre-sales role will be measured by your direct contribution to sales targets and by achieving high client satisfaction during the technical discovery process. By architecting the essential data workflows between Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, and CRMs, your work will directly impact our ability to deliver targeted, efficient, and intelligent recruitment advertising. You will also drive internal prioritization and requirements for new ATS integrations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate and Consult: Partner closely with the sales team during the pre-sales cycle to provide technical expertise and build client confidence.

  • Lead Technical Discovery: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand their existing HR technology landscape, data flows, and key business challenges.

  • Architect Solutions: Design robust, scalable, and elegant integration solutions that map client requirements to Veritone Hire's capabilities. This includes architecting complex data exchange workflows for job distribution, candidate data synchronization, and applicant status updates.

  • Translate Complexity: Articulate and present complex technical solutions to a wide range of audiences, from client-side developers and IT managers to non-technical HR and talent acquisition leaders.

  • Create Technical Documentation: Develop clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including solution diagrams, data flow maps, API specifications, and statements of work (SOWs) that outline the integration plan.

  • Serve as the SME: Act as the go-to subject matter expert on HR Tech integrations, staying current with industry trends, new technologies (e.g., modern job board APIs, conversational AI agents, assessment platforms), and best practices.

  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work with product and engineering teams to provide feedback from the field, helping to shape the future of our integration capabilities and product roadmap on integrations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Integration Consultant, or a similar position.

  • HR Tech Expertise: A deep understanding of the HR technology ecosystem, particularly the role and function of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). 

  • Integration Acumen: Experience designing and troubleshooting data exchange workflows is essential. Strong, hands-on knowledge of modern integration patterns, APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.), webhooks, and common data formats (JSON, XML)..

  • Exceptional Communication: Great verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to build relationships, explain complex ideas simply, and present with confidence and clarity.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A natural curiosity and a passion for solving complex puzzles. You see technical challenges as opportunities to design creative and effective solutions.

  • Self-Discipline: Proven ability to work effectively and autonomously in a remote setting, managing your time across different US time zones.

Additional Qualifications

  • Direct, hands-on experience integrating with major enterprise ATS platforms, particularly Workday, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), and Bullhorn.

  • Experience working with HR integration platforms or middleware solutions (e.g., Kombo, Merge, Finch).

  • A background in software development, professional services

  • DB proficiency - Experience in MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL, is required for data retrieval, manipulation, and investigation tasks. Strong understanding of database design and query performance tuning is preferred.

  • Familiarity with the programmatic advertising ecosystem (DSPs, Ad Exchanges, etc.).

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, pre-sales environment for a SaaS company.
