1Password is seeking an experienced cybersecurity product marketer to join as a Senior Manager, Product Marketing and drive the product marketing strategy for our device and application security solutions. This individual will help define the future of securing devices and applications and deliver the story of the Extended Access Management (XAM) platform to businesses of all sizes - focusing on innovation, new capabilities, and effectively communicating the value of new security solutions in the market.

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, this individual will help drive market positioning, develop messaging, influence the product roadmap, and shape go-to-market plans in partnership with marketing and sales for Device Trust, Trelica by 1Password, and the 1Password Extended Access Management platform.

This leader will be a key contributor to the XAM platform story, ensuring alignment across product, marketing, and sales - while helping customers and the market understand and adopt a new approach to securing devices and applications. They will lead an experienced product marketing team responsible for delivering insights, storytelling, and market activation programs. They will help set strategic direction, drive prioritization, and deliver measurable business outcomes in a competitive cybersecurity market.

A deep understanding of workforce cybersecurity is essential—this role requires experience with security and IT leadership priorities, as well as securing employee devices, SaaS applications, and workforce access.

This position is remote (open to candidates located in the US and Canada).

What we're looking for:

  • Experience: 10+ years of SaaS enterprise product marketing experience, including 5+ years in cybersecurity and 3+ years in a people leadership role.
  • Go-to-Market expertise: Proven ability to launch and scale enterprise security products, including expertise across customer research, messaging, packaging, competitive positioning, storytelling, and sales enablement.
  • Strategic leadership: Ability to align go-to-market strategies with evolving customer needs and industry trends.
  • Cybersecurity insight: Deep knowledge of workforce security, access management, and emerging threats, with insight into evolving IT and security priorities.
  • Leadership and collaboration: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications: While not required, certifications in product marketing (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product Marketing Alliance) and security fundamentals (e.g., Forrester Zero Trust, Security+, etc.) is an asset.
  • Degrees: Bachelor or Master’s in Technology, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience is an asset.

What you can expect:

  • Impactful work: Lead launch and adoption strategies for innovative new device, application, and platform capabilities, empowering organizations to stay secure.
  • Innovative environment: Join a team that values creativity, collaboration, and a growth mindset.
  • Growth opportunities: Be part of a fast-growing company in an exciting market, taking on impactful projects that will accelerate your growth and expand your skillset.
  • Develop product marketing strategy: Support the growth of the Extended Access Management category and expand 1Password’s role in securing devices and applications. Guide launch and adoption strategies for device, application, and platform security solutions.
  • Develop and mentor the team: Coach and support a high-performing product marketing team, fostering accountability and growth.
  • Drive insights: Conduct research to inform strategy, improving win rates, deal sizes, and market share while identifying competitive threats.
  • Create narratives and messaging: Craft compelling messaging that differentiates 1Password from legacy MDM, IGA, IAM, and SSO solutions - helping us win against key competitors.
  • Activate with sales and marketing: Equip sales with training and tools while driving XAM adoption through targeted campaigns.
  • Measure and optimize: Track KPIs to refine strategies, driving product sales growth, customer adoption, and competitive wins.

USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $172,000 USD and $232,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $158,000 CAD and $214,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.

We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that in-person connection is sometimes important to help us achieve our mission.
