Your Future Job 

 As Sr. National Sales Manager you will be accountable for sales growth and product distribution with key customers such as Alberstons, Meijer, HEB, and HyVee. You are a critical driver of the management of all selling and executional activities to achieve customer revenue and net sales targets within your territory.  This role capitalizes on maintaining relationships with our largest customers and supportive broker partner.  You are the crucial link between Daiya and the customer to develop business-building initiatives that have been the cornerstone of our past and future sales success. 

 

What You Will Do 

  • Partner closely with VP of US to develop strategic vision, sales strategies and objectives, financial budgets, and forecasts for customers of responsibility. 
  • Oversee all aspects of sales forecasting, planning and execution initiatives. 
  • Build, develop and maintain positive relationships with accounts. 
  • Superior utilization of the category management process to drive thought leadership within dairy free categories. 
  • Satisfy customer needs and strive to deliver revenue, share, and contribution growth using fact-based solutions. 
  • Proactively identify and implement business-building initiatives that contribute towards the achievement of superior business results for Daiya and the customer. 
  • Manage, educate, and lead broker and distributor partners in the support and management of the Daiya business with our customers.  
  • Forecast annual sales based on trends and company objectives.  
  • Represent Daiya at trade shows and trade association meetings to promote products and seek new business. 
  • Achieve or exceed KPI’s each quarter
  • Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary

 Your Background 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and five (5) years of experience in Key Regional or National Customer Management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

 What You Bring 

  • Passion for wholesome, plant-based, natural or alternative foods preferred
  • Willing to travel when needed
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Highly self-motivated within a remote home office environment 
  • Strong understanding of SPINS
  • Strong persuasive writing and oral communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Proven track record of sales success 
  • Ability to grow sales in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.  

 Compensation, Benefits & Perks  

Daiya’s compensation offerings are based on a pay-for-performance philosophy. The pay range for this position is from $110,000 - 150,000 USD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
