About the Role
Rula is seeking a Sr. Payment Posting Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Payment Application and Credit Manager, this role will work with the onshore billing team, the offshore billing vendors, and help support seamless payment posting and credit management processes. This individual will be responsible for collaborating on payment and credit operations and continuous process improvement.
This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, strategic thinking and analytical work, experience in healthcare payer operations and revenue cycle management, and comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities. Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in billing, collections or related role leading end-to-end transformation (process, technology, and people) at a healthcare organization

Experience building processes and utilizing tools (Salesforce, AMD, payer portals (e.g., Availity) etc.) to drive optimization

Experience applying structure, prioritization and effective communication to solve problems not just for the current state, but also predict future need and scale operations

Experience applying data and modeling to track performance (data visualization) and drive business decisions

Healthcare or start-up experience

Demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle management, with a focus on healthcare billing, payment posting and/or credit management with knowledge of credit management for insurance and governmental payers (Medicare or Medicaid)

Experience using data analytics with proficiency in Google/Excel (required), SQL (nice to have), Looker (nice to have)

Tech Savviness/Natural technical aptitude/Fluency with Google Suite, Salesforce, ZenDesk, AdvancedMD/EHR, or similar platforms
