As a Sr. Product Manager, you will have responsibility for specific products within the Entrust portfolio throughout their entire life cycle. Your responsibilities will range from increasing the attractiveness and profitability of existing products to developing new product offerings for the portfolio. You will build products based on existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your industry/market experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical knowledge, be capable of developing and communicating your vision ranging from the big-picture view down to detailed feature definitions and possess the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the marketplace and with customers to understand the drivers for new product and product features and the problems those customers are encountering. You must be capable of defining holistic solutions for your target market, while maintaining an attention to detail to support the definition of the features and functionality required to build it.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with technical experts and other members of the Product Management team to define product features that meet customers’ deployment, workflow and usability requirements. You will work with Engineering and Program Management to define release schedules and roadmaps. You will work with Product Marketing and Marketing Communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them to understand the positioning, key benefits and target customers of your products. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your products, including communication with the sales channel and key customers.

You must be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities, be capable of leading teams and working with demanding and highly technical stakeholders. You will also have experience defining, developing and evolving innovative product strategies in relevant industry sectors.

Responsibilities

For this role you will join the Digital Security Product Management team with specific responsibility for defining and delivering a Database Security and Enterprise Key Management Solution, working closely with Product Managers responsible for other areas of the portfolio as well as collaborating with the wider Entrust product teams. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Definition and delivery of the product roadmap
  • Evolution of the current product offering, building out new features and functionality and working with partners to deliver value add solutions
  • Developing a strategy for building market share for your product and expanding into new use cases
  • Developing and maintaining a certification strategy in line with the business and product goals

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent qualification)
  • Understanding of IT Security processes
  • Development skills are a plus
  • Technical security understanding
  • Strong market segment appreciation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Good team working and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience & knowledge:

  • Pragmatic Marketing accreditation
  • Master of Business Administration
  • Experience with Database Security and database technologies
  • Experience with Encryption & Enterprise Key Management products
  • Experience with enterprise security products and best practices
  • Experience with Public Cloud Security products & best practices
  • A good understanding of cryptography, encryption, and key management
  • Working with Agile development methodologies
  • Working with resellers and integration Partners
  • Ability to work with large Enterprise Customers’ expectations
  • Automatization Knowledge (Terraform, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code)

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $140,898-$206,651 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
