What You’ll Be Doing
You will be joining CIBC’s Enterprise Program Delivery team, with focus on delivery of enterprise-wide regulatory and compliance programs. As the Sr. Project Coordinator, you will ensure that the necessary project control procedures and standards are executed for programs and projects. You will work closely with the project managers, business and technology teams, and other project team members to ensure project governance processes are effectively managed, work artifacts are appropriately leveraged and practices adhered to.

You can effectively perform all work activities remotely, and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis (2-3 days per week). This is subject to business needs and there may be additional on-site days required.
How You’ll Succeed
- Project Coordination – Support Project and Program Managers throughout all phases of the project management lifecycle. Develop, manage, and control schedules by making continuous updates and communicating timelines, escalating issues when necessary. Support creation and maintenance of the project repository, artifacts, minutes, presentations, and management decks.
- Tracking & Reporting – You will track progress on milestones, response/resolution plans, change requests, issues & risks. You process information with a high degree of accuracy with attention to the details. Coordinate flow & management of documents for team and perform updates/reviews as required (using tools such as SharePoint, Plainview, Project Reporting Financials (PRF)).
- Project Financials – Track and reconcile financials ensuring resolution of anomalies. Update and reconcile ongoing estimates, make recommendations, and escalate when necessary. Support monthly & quarterly program accruals and financial reporting.
- Communication - Well developed written & verbal communication skills. Ability to produce a variety of business documents with clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation. Ability to articulate factual and conceptual information which require detailed explanation or interpretation
- Analytical Thinking – Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Your experience should be sufficient to interpret requirements and identify risks to deliver accurate and complete requirements to both internal and external clients.
- Lead - You will support leading Projects & Initiatives and ensure that requirement work packages are delivered on time, within budget, and with quality, as agreed to by the Project/Program Manager, Client, and/or Sponsor of each initiative.

- You can demonstrate experience in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project. It’s an asset if you are familiar with Planview and PRF.
