Vantor is seeking a Sr. Sales and Business Development Manager for our Enterprise team to bring satellite imagery and derived geospatial solutions to market. In this role, you will primarily focus on generating new business in addition to growing existing accounts in the strategic agriculture and construction markets. As part of a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you will collaborate with internal and external C-suite leaders, clients, and customer prospects.
This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, sophisticated business acumen, and the ability to grow new and existing opportunities. With these skills, you will expand upon Vantor’s industry-leading market position with companies focused on agriculture, AgTech, construction, and infrastructure development. This role will be a 50/50 split of new and existing business and is eligible to work remotely in the US.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identify and acquire new customers in the agriculture and construction sectors by developing and implementing sales strategies, engaging in prospecting, and leading negotiations to close high-value deals.
- Manage and expand existing accounts by building strong relationships with key clients in the agriculture and construction industries, developing account plans, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal and external C-suite leaders, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the target verticals.
- Expand Vantor’s satellite imagery solutions into the agriculture and construction sectors by demonstrating how our technology can optimize crop yields, improve water management, monitor large-scale construction projects, and enhance infrastructure asset management.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills to communicate the value of geospatial data for applications like precision agriculture, site analysis, and project monitoring to diverse stakeholders.
- Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and develop business plans tailored to the needs of the agriculture and construction industries.
- Ensure alignment of customer needs with Vantor’s solutions by preparing and presenting compelling proposals that address key industry challenges, from soil variability and crop health to project lifecycle management and site safety.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics and key performance indicators using CRM tools, tracking sales activities, and adjusting strategies based on performance analysis and feedback.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience in software and/or data licensing.
- Experience selling technology solutions to the agriculture or construction industries.
- Knowledge of precision agriculture, AgTech, construction technology (ConTech), infrastructure asset management, or geospatial products.
- Deep understanding of the operational and financial drivers within the AgTech or construction technology markets.
- A strong existing network within the agriculture or construction industries.
- Strong communication skills; ability to present and influence credibly at all levels of an organization, including the executive and C-level suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Civil Engineering, Geography, or Remote Sensing.
- 10+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota.
- Proven knowledge and experience managing a sales pipeline within Salesforce.
- Experience with MEDDPICC sales methodology or openness to learn.
- Experience selling to large customers and closing multi-million-dollar deals.

● The pay for this position within Colorado is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually.● The pay for this position within New Jersey is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually.● The pay for this position within Delaware is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually. ● The pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $179,000.00 - $299,000.00 annually.● The pay for this position within California is: $188,000.00 - $275,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
