Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Senior Salesforce Administrator to play a vital role at Applied Systems . We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform by gathering requirements and feedback and designing scalable and best-practice solutions. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be involved in all aspects of org management and org health. The ideal candidate would come with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, and be someone who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. The Senior Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be liaising with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical information into layman's terms, and clearly explaining design options and their potential impact. This role will also serve as the administrator of our Certinia PSA implementation, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing its functionality.

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $70,000 - $130,000 USD. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.

The ideal candidate will be liaising with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical information into layman's terms, and clearly explaining design options and their potential impact. This role will also serve as the administrator of our Certinia PSA implementation, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing its functionality.
What You Will Do
- Identify and gather requirements, translate into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Design and build effective business solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Flow and other declarative automation, fields, page layouts, record types, apps, actions, custom settings
- Work with Product owner to create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
- DevOps/release management and process improvement
- Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
- Configuring all aspects of Salesforce security, including user and license management, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
- User support ticket escalation
- Create and maintain lite technical documentation on automation and supported business processes
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features
- Maintain up to date certifications and knowledge on new Salesforce features
What You Will Need to be Successful
- Remote Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely, or from an Applied Systems office
- Must Have:
- 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator
- 1+ years experience with Certinia PSA
- Experience in Service Cloud and Sales Cloud required; experience with CPQ is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of Flow Builder
- Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification
- Experience in successful integrations with external systems, e.g. Netsuite
- Desired Skills (but not required):
- Experience with Platform App Builder
- Education: Bachelor's degree information systems or computer science preferred
