Location: This is a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week at our Ottawa, ON office located at 40 Hines Rd, Ottawa, ON K2K 2M5, Canada.

Position Summary:
As an applied AI/ML Developer working on Trend Vision One™ Platform (https://www.trendmicro.com/en_us/business/products/one-platform.html), you will collaborate with a global team to develop novel and best-in-class AI-Powered solutions to secure our customers' digital world.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply AI/ML skills on large scale datasets across the platform for AI-powered features ( security companion, attack surface insights, risk assessment, risk quantification... )

  • Design, implement and maintain effective MLOps pipelines to assure accuracy, validity and reliability of data/ML and LLM models

  • Design, build and operate robust AI-based and GenAI-based services in Vision One™ Platform with customer insight for better service quality

  • Collaborate with data platform staffs on scalable systems for high performance data transform, feature engineering and data correlation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering  or related fields AND 2+ years experience in ML/AI work OR equivalent experience.

  • Strong working experiences of machine learning and big data analysis which can include predictive analytics, time series forecasting, deep learning, knowledge graph systems or GenAI.

  • Strong machine learning breadth and depth with solid experience developing using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn

  • Proficiency in programming skills in Python,Go or similar language

  • With working knowledge of credit scorecard/scoring system, fraud detection, risk assessment/cyber security frameworks (NIST RMF, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, FAIR, COBIT5, ISO... ) -  is a plus

For applicants in the province of Ontario: Trend Micro Canada is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary for this role is CAD $105,000.00 - $130,000.00. A candidate’s final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors to include, but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
