Focusing on the RapidDeploy product line leading cloud-native platform for public safety. Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Contribute in all phases of the development life-cycle.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with .Net development tools such as .Net Core, ASP.Net and C#.

Strong in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems

Experience with Cloud, serverless, or distributed systems

Strong with .NET framework as well as .Net Core

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

Strong understanding of message queuing

Strong understanding of asynchronous

Experience with various design and architectural patterns

Familiarity with Domain Driven Design and Event Sourcing would be advantageous (a plus) Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#

Ability to work independently, yet function as an integral part of a team

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and ability to work well in a team setting

Experience working with small teams

Preferred skills:

Experience with pipeline architecture

Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Serverless Functions, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Application Insights, Cosmos DB

Experience with Azure IoT and/or managing an IoT device platform

Experience in 9-1-1 industry

Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD

Experience with computer networking

Experience with complex regular expressions

This position is open to all remote candidates based in the US.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Target Base Salary Range

$86,500.00 - $173,000.00

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
