As a Senior Staff UX Designer, you are a strategic leader and influential expert, driving UX vision and execution across multiple teams within a product area. You are responsible for defining and shaping the user experience strategy at scale, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

You mentor and elevate designers across multiple teams, fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation. Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and information architecture enables you to solve highly complex UX challenges while advocating for both user and business needs.

You are accountable for delivering high-quality, user-centered design outcomes that drive engagement, adoption, and business growth. You influence product roadmaps, ensuring UX considerations are integrated early and effectively. You collaborate closely with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders, aligning design strategy with company objectives and advocating for scalable, intuitive, and accessible user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Design Leadership: Lead strategic design initiatives, directly influencing product direction and organizational strategy.

  • Complex Problem Solving: Tackle complex UX issues requiring sophisticated design methods, comprehensive research, and extensive cross-functional alignment.

  • Team & Talent Development: Actively mentor and develop Senior, Mid-level, and Associate designers, fostering professional growth and a strong, collaborative team culture.

  • Stakeholder Influence: Effectively communicate and advocate for design solutions, managing expectations and aligning stakeholders at all levels.

  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve design processes, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output across projects.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in user experience design, including significant leadership in complex projects.

  • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or a related field.

  • Skills:

    • Expert proficiency in Figma, Miro, design systems, and collaborative tools.

    • Advanced knowledge of diverse UX research methodologies.

    • Proven leadership and mentorship skills.

    • Exceptional visual, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong ability to create alignment among senior stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in designing for enterprise-level applications, services, or platforms (specifically support or call centers).
