About the Role

Every great talent team needs someone who can keep a lot of balls in the air without dropping the ones that matter most. That's you.

You're early in your recruiting career and hungry to grow. You'll support full-cycle recruiting across the Americas, own our co-op program in Canada, and drive intern hiring in the United States — all while learning what it means to be a true talent advisor. This role is a launchpad. If you do it well, there's a clear path to growing into a full TA Partner.

If you're someone who color-codes their ATS, gets genuinely excited when a great candidate accepts an offer, and has ever gone out of the way to make sure a candidate had a good experience — welcome home.

Location: This is a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week in the Ottawa, ON office located at 40 Hines Rd, Ottawa, ON K2K 2M5.

What You'll Do

Own Co-op and Intern Hiring (60% of the job)

  • Learn how to manage the end-to-end process for co-op positions in Ottawa and the intern process in  Texas
  • Build and maintain relationships with university career centers, student clubs, and campus recruiting contacts
  • Coordinate timelines around academic calendars and ensure offers go out with enough runway for students to plan
  • Create a co-op candidate experience that makes students want to come back — and tell their friends
  • Help to support onboarding and offboarding of each co-op term, ensuring that each term is more successful than the last

Support Full-Cycle Recruiting (40% of the job)

  • Partner with the TA Team and hiring managers to support searches across a range of functions and levels
  • Own sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication for your assigned requisitions
  • Keep the process moving — follow up, flag blockers, and make sure no one is waiting longer than they should be

Be the Candidate Experience Champion

  • Make sure every candidate — from intern applicant to experienced hire — feels informed, respected, and valued throughout the process
  • Collect feedback and bring ideas for how we can make the experience better
  • Understand that a rejected candidate who had a great experience is still a brand ambassador

Keep the Engine Running

  • Maintain clean, accurate data in the ATS — because good decisions require good data
  • Support the TA Partner on special projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
  • Be the kind of teammate who makes the whole team better — share what you're learning, ask good questions, and bring energy
Who You Are
  • You're not passive about your career — you're actively learning, asking questions, and getting better every week
  • You're organized in a way that feels natural, not forced — you track things because you care, not because someone told you to
  • You genuinely like people — all kinds of people — and it shows in how you communicate
  • You can handle volume without sacrificing quality
  • You take ownership — if you said you'd follow up, you follow up. Full stop.
  • You're curious about recruiting technology and AI tools and excited to figure out how they can make you better at the human parts of your job
  • You're coachable — you take feedback well, apply it fast, and come back with better questions
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of sourcing, HR coordination, or talent acquisition experience — agency, in-house, university, or a mix of both is welcome
  • Experience with or strong interest in campus, co-op, or early talent recruiting
  • Technical aptitude and enthusiasm – you love using software tools to keep things organized and glossy (familiarity with an ATS is a bonus)
  • Comfort working across time zones and with stakeholders in different geographies
  • Strong written communication — your emails and messages should sound like a human wrote them, because one did
  • High attention to detail balanced with the ability to move quickly when the situation calls for it
