49 Solutions is seeking a talented User Researcher/Designer to join our team in support of Shared Services Canada (SSC). Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights on user needs and behaviors.
- Analyze research findings and present them to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes to guide design and development.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure user-centered design principles are incorporated into projects.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and research results to continuously improve user experiences.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in user experience design and research.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in user research and design.
- Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share research findings and design concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices in user experience design.
- Federal Government experience is an asset.
- Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.
