At Roofr, we’re obsessed with our customers. We constantly gather feedback to shape, prioritize, and launch the products they truly need. That’s what makes Roofr’s CRM special. We started by building essential sales tools like aerial roof measurements and digital sales proposals. But when our customers asked for a simple, affordable way to manage and scale their entire businesses, we listened. So, we created a CRM that connects these solutions—along with payments, material ordering, and more—into a seamless, powerful platform. With a clear roadmap ahead, we’re excited to continue expanding and leading the market with innovative products.

We have an amazing culture, strong financials, and best-in-class company metrics. It’s an exciting time to be part of an extraordinary startup that is already successful, yet still early enough to offer its team significant growth, equity, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

Roofr is seeking a Staff Product Growth Designer to lead design initiatives that accelerate user acquisition, engagement, and retention. As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to craft user-centric designs that drive measurable business outcomes. This role demands a balance of being data-driven, creative problem-solving, and hands-on execution. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform by designing seamless experiences that highlight value and remove friction for our users.

What you'll get to do:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for growth initiatives across web and mobile experiences,.
  • Design and execute experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to optimize onboarding flows, activation loops, and cross-platform adoption,.
  • Use data-driven insights (qualitative and quantitative) to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and other design deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Contribute to Roofr’s experimentation pipeline by proposing new ideas and sharing learnings from past experiments.
  • Continuously raise the bar for design quality through feedback sessions, critiques, and collaboration.
  • Build AI-enhanced workflows and use AI to be productive

 Key Mindset & Skills:

  • Business Acumen: Think like a Product Manager. Be deeply aware of business context and user needs, Iterative Experimentation: Thrive in ambiguity, willingness to operate in uncharted territories, and optimize for learning
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to craft user narratives and drive impactful metrics (e.g., activation, engagement, retention), balancing insights with creative problem-solving.
  • Collaborative Impact: Embrace failure as a learning opportunity, share findings to improve processes, and influence and elevate Growth and Design teams by contributing to experimentation pipelines.

What you bring to the role:

  • 8+ years of experience in growth-focused product design (e.g., running experiments to optimize metrics like activation or retention)
  • Ability to balance user needs with business goals while delivering high-quality designs efficiently.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in data-informed UX/UI design with measurable business impact.
  • Proficiency in cross-platform design (web and mobile) using tools like Figma  (AI tool experience a massive plus).
  • Experience conducting user research (e.g., interviews or usability tests) and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to stakeholders.
  • A hypothesis-driven mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity in a dynamic startup environment when data is simply not available.
  • Strong visual design skills with attention to detail.
  • Last but not the least, AI-forwardness

Bonus Points:

  • Experience designing for CRM or similar SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with design systems and contributing to their evolution—extra points for the ability to contribute to components in Storybook.
  • Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
  • A track record of taking risks with innovative solutions that drive growth.
