Why Mozilla?

Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we’re shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security and more. And we’re doing this while never losing our focus on our core mission – to make the internet better for people.

The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. This means we aren’t beholden to any shareholders — only to our mission. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms.

About this team and role:

The Firefox Desktop Search & Monetization team owns one of Mozilla’s most critical product areas — delivering high-quality, privacy-respecting search experiences that drive Firefox Desktop revenue and search engagement. Search is the most essential functionality in any browser, shaping daily user behavior while representing the majority of Firefox’s revenue.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the strategy and execution for search within the Firefox Desktop browser across Windows, macOS, and Linux. You will operate at the intersection of product experience, revenue growth, and partner strategy to ensure sustainable engagement and long-term value for users and Mozilla.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and drive the product strategy for search within the Firefox Desktop browser to grow search engagement and revenue.
  • Lead end-to-end experimentation across browser search access points, default search experiences, and monetization surfaces.
  • Define clear success metrics in partnership with Data Science, analyze results, and translate insights into actionable decisions.
  • Partner with Business Development to support search partnerships and ensure product execution aligns with contractual and strategic commitments.
  • Navigate complex trade-offs between user experience, privacy principles, technical constraints, and revenue outcomes.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual planning, identifying risks, opportunities, and long-term strategic initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of revenue-impacting product areas.
  • Proven experience leading experimentation programs and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency with product analytics tools and SQL.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance user needs, privacy considerations, and business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders.

What you’ll get:

  • Generous performance-based bonus plans to all eligible employees - we share in our success as one team
  • Rich medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting (regardless of whether you contribute)
  • Quarterly all-company wellness days where everyone takes a pause together
  • Country specific holidays plus a day off for your birthday
  • One-time home office stipend
  • Annual professional development budget
  • Quarterly well-being stipend
  • Considerable paid parental leave
  • Employee referral bonus program
  • Other benefits (life/AD&D, disability, EAP, etc. - varies by country)

With over 1,800 tech companies, many of which are leaders in their sectors, the city's tech talent now makes up more than 13 percent of its total workforce.
