Ready to make a real impact on global health and wellness care?

Practice Better is an all-in-one platform helping health and wellness practitioners run their businesses, care for their clients, and scale their impact. Founded by practitioners in 2016, we’re now the leading EHR and practice management platform in the wellness industry, trusted by tens of thousands of practitioners across 70+ countries.

In 2023, we expanded our whole-practice care offering through the acquisition of That Clean Life, bringing nutrition planning into our platform.

We’re a remote-first team headquartered in Toronto, made up of curious, driven, and empathetic people building tools that help practitioners create sustainable, independent practices; and do the most meaningful work of their careers. While most of our work happens remotely, we come together regularly for off-sites and team events to stay connected and build together.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to join our growing team.

As a Staff Product Manager, you'll own strategy and execution across two interconnected and high-impact domains: the practitioner onboarding and personalization experience that drives time-to-value and conversion, and the AI-powered capabilities that will define Practice Better's next generation of product. You'll partner closely with our AI engineering team to move fast and build thoughtfully — translating the rapidly evolving AI landscape into a clear, prioritized roadmap grounded in real practitioner needs. And you'll bring the same rigor and intentionality to onboarding and personalization, designing experiences that help practitioners see value quickly and stay for the long term.

You lead with clarity and confidence, thrive in ambiguity, and take pride in both shipping great products and raising the bar for the people around you. You bring deep AI product expertise, strong data intuition, and the kind of senior IC excellence that makes the whole team better.

Note: Practice Better is a remote-first company with team members across North America. This particular role is currently open to US-Based and Canadian-based candidates only, and candidates must be legally entitled to work for any employer in the country that they are based. Practice Better is unable to support sponsorship for work permits or visas at this time.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own product strategy and roadmap for Onboarding & Personalization and AI — two critical domains for Practice Better's conversion, retention, and competitive differentiation
  • Partner closely with our AI engineering team to define, prioritize, and ship AI-powered features that deliver real practitioner value — moving fast without losing rigor
  • Lead AI product strategy, translating the rapidly evolving AI landscape into a clear, prioritized roadmap grounded in user needs and business outcomes
  • Drive personalized onboarding experiences that accelerate time-to-value for new practitioners and meaningfully improve free trial to paid conversion
  • Set the standard for data-driven product development — define success metrics, instrument features, analyze outcomes, and use quantitative and qualitative signals to guide decisions
  • Lead discovery and validation efforts, synthesizing user research, behavioral data, and market insights to inform prioritization
  • Serve as a force multiplier for the product team — mentor PMs, model best-in-class product practices, and elevate discovery, communication, and execution quality across the organization
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Design, Research, Marketing, and Customer Success on complex, multi-workstream initiatives
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for major launches, working closely with Marketing and Customer Success on positioning, communications, and rollout planning
  • Contribute shared frameworks and best practices that improve how the product org discovers, builds, and ships at scale
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS environment, with a track record of leading large, complex initiatives
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI product management — you understand how to identify high-value AI use cases, work effectively with ML/AI engineering teams, and ship AI features responsibly and iteratively
  • Deeply data-driven — you set up instrumentation, define success metrics, track outcomes rigorously, and are comfortable working with data at every stage of the product lifecycle
  • Experience owning onboarding, activation, or personalization product areas, with a strong understanding of how to drive time-to-value and conversion
  • Proven ability to drive full product lifecycle ownership across multiple teams or workstreams simultaneously
  • Deep expertise in product discovery and user research methods
  • Strong cross-functional influencer — you align diverse stakeholders and drive momentum without relying on formal authority
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a bias for clarity and action
  • Naturally elevates the people around you — through mentorship, modeling excellent craft, and raising the standard for what "good" looks like
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment — analytical, curious, and focused on outcomes over perfection
Bonus Points
  • Experience building or scaling AI-powered features in a SaaS product, particularly in vertical software
  • Familiarity with LLMs, AI workflow automation, or AI-assisted tools for knowledge workers or professionals
  • Experience in health, wellness, or healthcare industries, particularly with HIPAA-compliant systems
  • Familiarity with integrative health, nutrition, or practice management domains
  • Experience with product-led growth (PLG), activation optimization, or lifecycle marketing collaboration
  • Experience leading product through a period of significant company growth or transformation
