Group Summary:
The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2nd year completed or in process of an Engineering Program
• Mechanical/technical abilities/interests
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Competent with computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
(Optional) - Preferred but not required

• Automotive manufacturing experience

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compensation $24.40 - $27.58 per hour based on years completed
• Support project engineer/program managers in day to day issues
• Assist in prototyping activities and builds
• Assist in collecting data and analyzing
• Generate reports and contribute to the development of APQP documentation
• Coordinate packaging design and evaluation
• Lead the development of product catalogues
• Attend engineering meetings and design reviews
• Support electrical and test lab activities
• Utilize effective housekeeping practices
• Performs all job functions abiding by the office/work standards, policies and procedures as outlines in the company handbook.
• Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001
