Job Responsibilities:
Job Introduction:
Reporting to the Director of Professional Practices, the primary responsibilities of this position will be to support the overall Internal Audit back-office efficiency, preparation for audits, and Audit Management Systems administration.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist with engagement preparation, including the creation of audit engagement templates and announcements for all regions.
- Assist the audit teams by retrieving select pre-audit information from various sources.
- Distribute Audit Reports and track engagement results.
- Monitor and track Auditor time and Auditee feedback.
- Assist with administration within the Audit Management System.
- Potentially assist with the performance of audit engagements during peak resource requirements.
- Contribute to other improvement initiatives and projects pursued by the Professional Practices Team designed to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the Audit Teams.
- Perform various office administrative responsibilities.
Knowledge and Education:
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills: oral, written, and listening.
- Ability to respond to internal requests for support and assistance in a prompt and professional manner.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Attentive to detail, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a confidential manner due to access to information of a sensitive nature.
- Strong personal values, ethics, and integrity consistent with those of Magna International's corporate values.
Work Environment:
- Standard office environment.
