Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Meadowvale Launch Requirements with respect to shipping
  • Analyze historical demand data, market trends, and service forecasts to develop accurate demand plans.
  • Collaborate with sales, service, and engineering teams to align supply planning with product lifecycle stages
  • Identify all service parts at Meadowvale using pictures, cross referencing of customer production & service part numbers and in collaboration with Engineering.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance service levels and working capital.
  • Identify and mitigate risks of part shortages or excess stock through proactive planning and replenishment strategies.
  • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies across the service parts supply chain.
  • Develop and implement solutions for improvement in logistics, warehousing, and planning processes.
  • Utilize ERP and supply chain management tools to generate insights, KPI reports, and dashboards.
  • Participate in new product introductions (NPIs) and end-of-life (EOL) planning for service parts.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, engineering, customer service, and finance teams to streamline end-to-end service part delivery.
  • Establish the location of each part with clear references.
  • Determine minimum quantities required based on part history and current releases
  • Forecast weekly requirements two weeks out at all times.
  • Identity what parts do not have tooling available
  • Coordinate with scheduling to run all parts.
  • Oversee that parts are inputted into the inventory system and system is accurate.
  • Repack and tag to support weekly releases.
  • Accurately book weekly shipments using customer assigned logistics companies.
  • Answer customer screens as to pull ahead confirmations
  • View customer dealer claims web site for service part problems

Education Qualifications:
  • High school/GED or equivalent with previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer functional for OEM Specific Container System; Microsoft Office and Epicor ERP is an asset
  • Current valid counter balance forklift / OH Crane license / Raymond Reach forklift
  • Knowledge of Meadowvale Stamping's key Materials Department processes
  • Familiar with Meadowvale Service parts and Returnable Containers an asset
  • Working knowledge of the English language, both written and oral
  • Familiar with forklifts, high reach truck, band cutters, compacters, tape measures and banding machines.
  • APICS Training is an Asset
