The Opportunity:
4 month position: May - August 2025
This position will aid with Supply Chain Product and Process Engineering within the PON Portfolio of products. It is a great opportunity to learn and contribute to process improvement initiatives, resolving issues impacting product introduction or revenue attainment, and ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:

Perform data gathering and analysis to summarize manufacturing performance

Create documentation to record changes and capture testing procedures

Raise awareness of defects and performance issues
-
Analyze test results, and report findings
-
Conduct experiments, collect data, and perform statistical analysis to evaluate process performance and identify areas for improvement.

Support process documentation, including creating work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flowcharts
Activities:
-
Participate in the creation and execution of test plans to ensure product quality and performance
-
Participate in process validation activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to product design, functionality, and performance

Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Special duties and projects as assigned by senior engineering leader
The Must Haves:
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, or JMP.
-
Knowledge of process optimization techniques, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
The pay for this position is $20.00 - $27.00
