Mission:

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring seamless video delivery for millions of viewers by deploying and optimizing cutting-edge streaming solutions across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

Deployment & Integration:

  • Install, configure, and integrate ATEME solutions within customers’ broadcast and streaming environments.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Sales, and Product Management) to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.

  • Document deployment procedures and best practices to enhance knowledge sharing.

Customer Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.

  • Analyze logs and performance metrics to identify root causes and optimize system performance.

  • Work closely with customers to address technical inquiries and offer timely solutions.

  • Assist in training clients on ATEME products and solutions.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Contribute to product improvement by relaying customer feedback to R&D teams.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline troubleshooting and deployment processes.

  • Participate in internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: 3+ years in technical support, deployment, or integration (broadcast, streaming, or telecom preferred)

  • Technical Skills: Linux, IP networking, video compression (MPEG-2, H.264, HEVC), streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, RTMP)

  • Nice to Have: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, scripting (Python, Bash)

  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

  • Availability: Willing to join an on-call rotation in a 24/7 environment

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: $90,000–$120,000 CAD annual base salary, depending on experience and technical expertise, with potential performance-based incentives

  • Hybrid Work: Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, with 3 days per week on-site and 2 days remote

  • Time Off: 20 days of annual vacation, 10 paid holidays, additional paid leave for qualifying life events, and extra vacation based on seniority after 4 years of service

  • Health & Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, ATEME covers 60% of benefit premiums, plus Life & AD&D insurance

  • Internet Reimbursement: Up to $120 CAD per month toward eligible home internet expenses

  • Mobile Phone Reimbursement: Up to $90 CAD per month toward eligible mobile phone expenses

  • Technology Allowance: Receive up to $580 CAD toward a new device every 3 years

  • Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
    Candidates must be based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and able to work on-site in Toronto approximately 3 days per week.
