Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Lead is a strategic recruitment expert responsible for driving innovative talent acquisition strategies and leading enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives for hard-to-fill and niche roles. This role sets the vision for sourcing excellence, introducing creative approaches, and leveraging market intelligence to build pipelines of high-quality talent. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the Talent Acquisition Lead influences hiring strategies and ensures the organization remains competitive in attracting top talent.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment for Sales and Corporate Positions
  • Subject Matter Expert- Leveraging technology and TA Training
  • Design and Implement Innovative Sourcing Solutions
    Introduce cutting-edge tools, technologies, and methodologies to expand talent reach and improve candidate quality, including advanced talent mapping and proactive engagement.
  • Strategic Leadership and Influence
    Partner with leaders to align sourcing strategies with business priorities, using data-driven insights to influence decisions and shape workforce planning.
  • Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis
    Serve as sourcing thought leader by monitoring industry trends, talent market dynamics, and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Pipeline Development and Talent Communities
    Build and sustain robust talent pipelines for critical skill areas, ensuring readiness for current and future hiring needs.
  • Mentorship and Capability Building
    Coach and mentor recruiters on advanced sourcing techniques, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the talent acquisition function.
  • Enterprise Projects and Visibility
    Lead high-impact sourcing projects with visibility across HR and business leadership, applying expertise to guide organizational talent strategies.
Education
  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience with demonstrated leadership in sourcing for hard-to-fill roles (Required)
  • Candidate must available to attend career events/ networking events across Canada
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This job does not have direct supervisory duties but provides functional leadership and guidance.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 89,300.00 - 139,300.00 annually.  Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
