Talent Management Internship - Year Round

On-Site Requirement: This role requires the intern to be present in the Chicago office at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Position Summary: We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Management Intern to provide essential administrative and project management support across our Organizational Effectiveness, D&I, and L&D functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment and contribute to meaningful talent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Development Support:
Assist with weekly administrative tasks, including pulling Course Enrollment Reports from Workday and identifying/resolving course mismatches.
Support project logistics for In-Person (ILT), Virtual (VILT), and On-Demand learning programs, including:
Booking meeting rooms and scheduling programs.
Sending out meeting invitations to facilitators and project managers.
Updating regional Upcoming Training & Development slides on the Course Catalog and shared calendar.
Creating and maintaining workplan drafts for ILT/VILT programs.
Coordinating with the Creative team for program signage design and printing.
Aid in program preparation, such as:
Updating and distributing pre- and post-program communication templates for review.
Creating sign-in sheets and pulling program materials.
Generating survey QR codes and links.
Finalizing logistics with facilitators (security access, Wi-Fi, AV requests) and corporate facilities (room setup).
Assist with post-program tasks, including logging attendance in Workday.
Organizational Effectiveness & Diversity & Inclusion Support:
Provide entry-level administrative and project management support for various Organizational Effectiveness and D&I initiatives.
Assist with data collection, basic analysis, and reporting related to talent programs.
Support the coordination of D&I events, workshops, and communication efforts.
Help maintain and organize project timelines, documentation, and resources.
SharePoint & Content Management:
Contribute to the monthly Recommended Learning initiative on SharePoint by curating resources from platforms like LinkedIn Learning, Blinkist, and YouTube.
Draft updates and marketing communications for the Monthly Recommended Learning page.
Update the Monthly Recommended Learning SharePoint page.
Collaborate with the Project Manager on edits and additions for Employee Update communications.
General Administrative Support:
Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and responding to inquiries.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Talent Management team.
Qualifications:
Actively enrolled in a Master's degree or higher program in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Strong interest in Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organizational Effectiveness, and Diversity & Inclusion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and self-starter with excellent follow-through.
Comfortable anticipating next steps rather than waiting for a supervisor to provide direction.
Prior office or administrative experience is a plus.

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
