The Talent Strategy Specialist is a pivotal role within the organization’s Talent Strategy team, dedicated to enhancing employee development and experiences. This role combines an acumen for technical and logistical consulting with hands-on program administration, working across HR to deploy and manage data-driven learning solutions and engaging employee experience initiatives. The Talent Strategy Specialist promotes alignment with organizational goals and core values, fostering a culture of belonging and continuous learning and development.
What You’ll Do
- Support all areas of Talent Strategy including Learning Consultants, Career Experience, Talent Development, and Organizational Effectiveness to guide effective content structure and communications deployment strategies.
- Assist in the creation of communication materials (e.g., Source page creation, creation of function-specific messages linking to appropriate content using material from other teams, appropriate HR Slack channels).
- Maintain communications calendars and coordinate communications in partnership with the Talent Strategy COE, other HR COEs, HRBPs, and Comms teams.
- Utilize designated templates and standardized communication formats to ensure consistency and alignment across TS communications.
- Organize and maintain Talent Strategy resources and communication materials, linking them to relevant documentation and tools.
- Utilize AI prompt engineering (e.g, Gemini Enterprise, Claude, ChatGPT) for communications, presentation building, analysis, and processing unstructured data.
- Provide operational lift for select Talent Strategy solutions as required.
- Coordinate logistics for TS programs and events (onsite and virtual), partnering with IT and Workplace Experience teams.
- Manage tools and resources for facilitators, ensuring smooth execution of events.
- Utilize and review playbooks and processes to ensure consistent program execution.
- Serve as the point of contact for Talent Strategy program inquiries, including monitoring EDGE inbox, event related questions, and maintenance of posted learning resources.
- Drive alignment across onboarding, acculturation, and employee development and experience programs to ensure seamless execution and hand-offs.
- Facilitate progress tracking and timely status updates for projects and roadmaps across Talent Strategy and HR COEs as requested.
- EDGE Support and Administration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all global learning programs within the EDGE Learning Management System (LMS).
- Provide LMS support, including reporting, system communications, and profile management.
- Collaborate with internal teams on the structure and deployment of HR-led learning initiatives.
- Partner with Talent Strategy clients to develop measurable learning objectives and define key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business priorities.
- During the learning program design phase, drive teams to identify and clarify organizational needs:
- Payoff Needs: The economic opportunities or problems the learning solution addresses.
- Business Needs: Key metrics such as productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Needs: Behaviors or processes that must change to achieve business goals.
- Learning Needs: Knowledge and skills required to enable these changes.
- Preference Needs: Delivery methods for effective knowledge transfer and application.
- Conduct quarterly check-ins and refine strategies using performance data. Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Promptly measure and report program effectiveness using assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms after each program session or cohort.
- Proactively identify and recommend process improvements across TS to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on relevant trends and technologies, integrating innovative approaches into program recommendations.
- Use data to continuously improve the deployment of TS initiatives, maximizing measurable business impact.
- Develop and track program metrics, to include efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes (e.g., cost per participant, participant satisfaction, business impact).
- Deliver monthly reports summarizing program results, forecasts, and comparisons against targets.
- Partner with Sr. Data Insights & Analytics Manager to coordinate accurate data collection and analysis for reporting.
- Utilize skilled AI prompt engineering in tools (e.g, Gemini Enterprise, Claude, ChatGPT) for analysis and processing unstructured data program data.

What You Will Bring to Coupa
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
