The Crown Is Yours

As a Mobile Release Manager you will be responsible to create and maintain the release cycle for our Gaming Native application. In this role, you will focus on release strategies, deliverable timelines and risk mitigation while establishing processes within the engineering teams to release mobile applications.  You will work closely with Product managers to triage release issues, maintain the health of the releases and work with the release management team for planning and scheduling. 

What you’ll do as a Mobile Release Manager:

  • Collaborate with the Engineering teams by leveraging your coding and technical skills to build out native releases at a regular cadence.

  • Be responsible for the Gaming Native app (Sportsbook, Casino, Golden Nugget) release rollout in App Store Connect and Google Play Console.

  • Monitor the release status, call out any early issues/risks, and support the Engineering team by creating hotfixes.

  • Help drive Gaming Native release strategies and deliverable timelines with various stakeholders

  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, providing detailed information within strict timelines.

  • Establish mechanisms and processes to optimize release effectiveness.

  •  Lead prioritization meetings and status meetings with stakeholders at a regular cadence

  • Lead the Bi-Weekly Release Planning meetings Product, Engineering and Delivery teams.

  • Collaborate with other technical program managers and delivery managers to mitigate any risk.

What you’ll bring

  • 2+ years experience in either iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development

  • 2+ years experience in program or product management space.  

  • Strong knowledge of native operating system capabilities, app signing, deployment processes, and consumer app best practices.

  • Solid understanding of Engineering Source Code Management (SCM) - GIT

  • Solid understanding of Engineering SDLC and Agile development

  • Extensive experience working on app releases in App Store and Google Play Console.

  • Proficiency in SQL is required; Can independently investigate and test datasets, perform data validation

  • A Foundational understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 is a plus (not required)

  • Solid understanding of Remote Configuration system is required

  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

  • History of working in a collaborative, iterative development environment
