We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Solution Architect / Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and operational support of enterprise network and security infrastructure. This role combines strategic architecture responsibility — securing and optimizing networks using Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, advanced routing and switching, and Nokia SR-series routing technologies — with hands-on operational expertise in wireless network design, deployment, and incident resolution using Aruba and Cisco solutions. The ideal candidate brings a blend of architectural vision and operational rigor, with a strong preference for CCIE/SRAcertifications and working familiarity with Nokia routers and Aruba WiFi technologies.

Responsibilities
Network & Security Architecture
  • Design and implement secure, resilient network architectures leveraging Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Develop and apply strategies to safeguard systems against vulnerabilities and emerging threats while maintaining optimal performance.
  • Architect, optimize, and troubleshoot complex routing and switching environments to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Drive high availability and reliability across the network infrastructure.
  • Define and enforce security policies and standards aligned with industry best practices.
  • Lead regular audits and risk assessments to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate Nokia routers and Aruba WiFi technologies into the broader network ecosystem.
  • Continuously optimize wired and wireless network performance for scalability, resilience, and security.
Wireless Network Design & Deployment
  • Design and deploy enterprise wireless networks, including Access Points, Controllers, and Gateways.
  • Architect and manage authentication solutions using ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) or Cisco ISE.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex wireless network issues, delivering timely technical support to end users.
Incident, Change & Problem Management
  • Own the resolution of high-priority incidents and service requests, ensuring timely, effective outcomes.
  • Manage incident tickets end-to-end, delivering technical solutions and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, document findings, and recommend design improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Adhere to established change and problem management processes for all network updates and implementations.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed and support remote project implementations.
Documentation, Governance & Mentorship
  • Produce comprehensive documentation for network designs, configurations, and wireless network setups.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical growth and a collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
Must-Have
  • 10+ years of experience in network security and architecture roles, including hands-on experience with Nokia SR-series routers.
  • Advanced, architecture-level knowledge of Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Deep expertise in routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS), with proven ability to design and troubleshoot across multi-vendor platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in Wireless LAN design, configuration, and deployment using Aruba or Cisco technologies.
  • Hands-on expertise with Aruba WLAN products and ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM), or Cisco ISE.
  • 6+ years of experience in Network Services, with a strong track record in complex, mission-critical environments.
  • Solid proficiency in authentication protocols (RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP) and core network security principles.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) or SRA (Security Routing Architect) preferred.
  • Equivalent security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) highly desirable.
Nice-to-Have
  • Familiarity with Nokia routers, including configuration and management.
  • Experience with Aruba WiFi technologies and wireless network performance optimization.
  • Experience gathering requirements for network solutions, with a solid understanding of Enterprise WLAN concepts.
  • Certifications such as ACCP, ACMA, or ACCX are considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-team collaboration skills.
