WHAT YOU'LL DO:
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to help us strengthen our brand identity, as well as support various marketing initiatives and campaigns. This individual should be creative, detail-oriented and have an ability to translate requirements into design.
Our ideal candidate is seasoned visual storyteller who's passionate about developing a memorable brand capable of breaking through the digital clutter. This individual will be responsible for designing everything from print materials to digital assets, including but not limited to white papers, guides, one sheets, digital ads, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, website graphics, tradeshow signage, event booths and more.
Working well with others is a must, as this role will require you to work collaboratively across various departments, designing materials that will be used both internally and externally. This person should be a go-getter with strong communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects from idea to completion while remaining ever focused on hitting deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail in both enforcing brand standards and ensuring final files are error-free will be critical component of this role.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Create all print and digital collateral for SambaSafety, including white papers, guides, one sheets, digital ads, checklists, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, website graphics, tradeshow signage, event booths and more.
- Establish creative direction for SambaSafety, helping advance SambaSafety's current brand based on the direction our company is going.
- Refresh existing collateral to the current brand standards you've developed.
- Speaking of brand, enforce brand standards and ensure consistency as you work across multiple departments.
- Provide UX and design recommendations for everything from emails to webpages.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and of top-notch quality.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images.
Qualifications for Graphic Designer
- 2-5 years of experience in graphic design, either in-house or at an agency
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of common digital and print layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, color pallets, print and digital printing and publishing
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint
- Motion graphic experience is a big plus
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
