How You'll Make an Impact

 

Tendering & Proposals

  • Lead the tendering and proposal team for various transformer service product lines in Canada.

  • Oversee the entire tender process, from bid proposal to submission, including T&Cs review.

  • Develop strategies to win tenders and secure contracts.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create compelling proposal content.

  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary data for tender submissions.

  • Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the risk review process.

  • Track key tendering KPIs, such as hit rate and quote cycle time.

 

Technical Sales

  • Product Knowledge: Understand and communicate the technical aspects of the products to potential customers and the industry.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets.

  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.

  • Technical Support: Coordinate technical support and guidance during the sales process.

  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor service offerings to identify opportunities.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure services meet all regulatory requirements for different markets.

  • Documentation: Prepare and submit necessary documentation for technical offering approval.

  • Approval Process: Manage the process of obtaining end user approvals for services offerings.

  • Customer Interaction: Work closely with end users to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction.

  • Compliance: Ensure all services comply with end user specifications and standards.

  • Feedback: Collect and analyze feedback from end users to improve services offerings.

 

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in tendering, proposal management, and technical sales, preferably in the transformers services industry.

  • Strong understanding of the transformers services market and customer needs.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%.
