In this role, your expertise will directly contribute to transforming patient outcomes. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build deep understanding of customers, their needs, challenges and interdependencies to effectively map the patient journey in eosinophilic diseases and propose solutions that deliver value to the patient, customer and GSK
  • Develop and implement strategic and targeted business plans with specialists treating eosinophilic driven diseases that delivers or exceeds targets
  • Demonstrate measurable progress against business plans, in line with GSK policy, using clearly defined KPIs that prove the value returned to the business and delivery against customer needs
  • Effectively utilize multi-channel selling tools (face to face, remote and digital) to implement unique customer focused initiatives to deliver value and accelerate sales growth
  • Courageously challenge customer biases, assumptions and beliefs with appropriate positive tension to influence them to change mindset and behaviors
  • Mobilize internal and external experts through appropriate forums/channels to deliver data and respond to queries in line with GSK’s HCP engagement ways of working
  • Become an acknowledged expert in the business by fully understanding the healthcare environment (including customers, products, competitive set, regulatory & reimbursement)
  • Assess customer needs and uncover potential barriers related to the Patient Support Programs (PSP); work with team and vendor to develop recommendations for improvement

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years pharma or biologics sales experience
  • Proven sales and leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Strong history of building strong customer relationships
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous specialty pharmaceutical sales experience with biologics, or rare disease is preferred
  • Strong customer/patient focus
  • High level of drive and proven ability to build strong business relationships including gaining and maintaining access to customers
  • Proven ability to leverage a network of specialists and allied health care professionals
  • Strong learning agility to build a high level of disease/product knowledge and ability to interpret scientific research studies
  • Proven track record to proactively identify strategic business opportunities and propose solutions to provide value and drive business growth
  • Strong business planning and ROI analysis skills
  • Solid project manager, including the ability to implement, monitor and review projects
  • High level of business integrity and ethics
  • Travel is required*

*This position requires the employee to drive routinely on Company business and allows for the provision of a company – leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements.
