About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Territory Sales Manager to lead and manage our Audio, Video and Lighting business efforts in the region. You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting Canadian distributors, driving inventory management, demand planning, and day-to-day operational execution. Collaborate with internal teams to grow U.S. based accounts with Canadian operations and support some business development efforts with resellers and end-users. You will effectively balance distributor management with driving demand for Harman Pro Solutions in Canada while meeting and exceeding revenue targets.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee and manage the Canadian distributors, providing guidance on inventory management, demand planning, and operational support to ensure seamless day-to-day business execution.

  • Collaborate with distributors to optimize their processes, align forecasts, and strengthen the supply chain to meet market demands.

  • Work with the North American Distribution sales team to develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive demand for Harman Pro Solutions in the Canadian market.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at distributors, resellers, and end-users.

  • Engage with U.S.-based accounts operating in Canada to grow regional opportunities and influence their Audio, Video and Lighting solution decisions to include Harman Pro as the standard.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Retail, Tour and Lighting Leadership, Technical Sales, Marketing) to tailor solutions and strategies specific to Canadian market needs.

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape in Canada.

  • Present the value proposition of Harman Pro Solutions to potential clients and partners, effectively communicating its benefits and advantages.

  • Track and analyze sales and distributor performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting strategies to meet revenue targets.

  • Represent Harman at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities in Canada to promote brand awareness and cultivate relationships.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on distributor performance, business development activities, and market trends.

  • Deliver quota attainment goals and objectives

What You Need

  • Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in sales, distributor management, or business development, with a focus on the Canadian market.

  • Strong understanding of the Canadian market landscape, including key players, trends, and opportunities.

  • Proven experience managing distributors, optimizing inventory management, and leading demand planning.

  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities in Canada.

  • Negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform decision-making.

  • Proficiency in French preferred

  • Willingness to travel within Canada as needed to meet with distributors, clients, and attend industry events.

  • Adaptability to thrive in a global matrix organization with ability to communicate at all levels.

  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.

What Is Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-standard software.

  • Previous experience with competitive equipment manufacturers or in AV sales and/or engineering.

  • Technical knowledge of audio, video, and control systems.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 50% within the region

  • Be willing to work from a home office in Canada, Toronto or Montreal is preferred.

  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
