  • Three types of roles are available: Automated Test Developer, Integration & Test / Design Testing Support, and AI Developer Experience. During the interview, we'll discuss which best fits your interests.

What you will do:
  • Develop and code automated 5G test cases and test tool capabilities
  • Build infrastructure to support 5G automated testing, including Layer 1 and test frameworks
  • Develop tools and automation to support vDU integration and testing (e.g., onboarding guides, test channel setup, PM/KPI analysis tools, data visualization)
  • Improve test development workflows by leveraging AI and Generative AI-powered tools
  • Experiment with prompt engineering and fine-tuning AI models for test case generation
  • Perform software feature and/or integration testing on 5G lab equipment
  • Work in 5G simulations, including signal processing with AI/ML
  • Develop command-line and web-based tools to support software development
  • Investigate and help resolve issues uncovered during testing
  • Collaborate with colleagues using Agile ways of working

The skills you bring:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective English communication (written and verbal)
  • General knowledge of LTE and/or 5G wireless protocols is an asset
  • Programming languages (assets): Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Perl, Java SpringBoot, HTML/CSS, C/C++
  • Tools & platforms (assets): Linux, Gerrit, GitHub, Jenkins, Django, Angular
  • Frameworks & concepts (assets): HTTP & RESTful APIs, Database Fundamentals (Hibernate & JPA), Kubernetes, Docker
  • Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks such as OpenAI, Codeium, or TensorFlow is a plus

Eligibility requirements:
  • 2.7+ GPA or equivalent , Uploading an unofficial copy of your transcript
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master's, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op
  • Be available to work 40 hours per week

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is:
Bachelors: $25.5/hr - $34.5/hr
Masters: $37/hr
PhD: $41/hr
