Job Title: Senior Product Manager – UC Solutions
Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)
Business Unit: Cloud & Edge
Company: Ribbon Communications

About Ribbon Communications:
Ribbon Communications (Nasdaq: RBBN) is a global provider of real-time communications software, IP, and optical networking solutions to service providers, enterprises, and critical infrastructure sectors. Our technology supports the transformation of networks with cloud-native software, high-performance platforms, and advanced security capabilities. Join a company shaping the future of communications in a data-driven, always-connected world.

The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Senior Product Manager to lead the Unified Communications (UC) solutions within our Cloud & Edge Business Unit. Based in Ottawa, this role plays a critical part in developing and evolving Ribbon’s UC portfolio to meet the demands of today’s enterprise customers—focused on virtualization, flexibility, and cloud-based innovation.

This is a high-impact leadership role that requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, external partners, and global customers to deliver competitive, scalable UC solutions capable of matching top players like Alianza, BroadSoft, and NetSapiens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the UC product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

  • Drive product strategy, feature prioritization, and go-to-market initiatives for Ribbon’s UC offerings.

  • Partner with Sales to support customer engagements, provide tailored presentations, and assist in closing strategic deals.

  • Manage key third-party relationships essential to delivering the complete UC solution.

  • Collaborate with design and development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

  • Define and manage pricing models and long-term pricing strategy.

  • Lead lifecycle management of UC products from concept to end-of-life.

  • Support responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, and oversee field trial coordination.

  • Represent Ribbon at industry events, analyst briefings, and customer meetings as a thought leader in UC.

  • Provide sales enablement, including internal training and messaging development.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in UC, VoIP, or real-time communications.

  • A track record of success developing enterprise-grade UC solutions with global reach.

  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, virtualization, and communication technologies.

  • Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills; ability to align teams and drive execution.

  • Strong communication skills—both technical and business-oriented.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Why Join Ribbon:
At Ribbon, you’ll be part of a global team driving cutting-edge innovation in communications. You’ll enjoy the autonomy to lead, the support to succeed, and the opportunity to shape the future of UC. If you’re ready to lead with impact—this is your role.
