Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced VP, Business Development to join our growing Aecom Advisory practice in Toronto, Canada. This is a key leadership role responsible for establishing and expanding our advisory services footprint within the infrastructure investor community.
Aecom Advisory is a new, executive-level strategic advisory group within Aecom. Our core value proposition is unique in the market: we combine high-level strategic, financial, and commercial advice with the unparalleled technical, engineering, and project delivery expertise of Aecom's global network. - Lead Generation & Execution: Drive the full business development lifecycle, from initial contact and opportunity shaping to leading the preparation of proposals, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Integrated Value Proposition: Act as the key bridge between the client's strategic and investment objectives and Aecom's vast technical capabilities. Collaborate internally with our diverse teams of engineers, planners, and technical specialists to craft integrated, value-added solutions.
- Team Building & Delivery Oversight: As a senior leader with a 'seller-doer' mindset, contribute to the recruitment, mentorship, and development of the technical and advisory team. Provide senior oversight on key client engagements as needed to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Aecom Advisory in the market by attending industry conferences, networking events, and speaking engagements to establish our brand as a premier advisor in the infrastructure sector.
- Market Intelligence: Provide leadership with insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to help shape the future direction of the Advisory practice.
- Performance Targets: Meet and exceed established targets for sales, revenue, and profitability.
