The Account Executives role is focused on executing against social-first marketing programs across an array of brands and businesses that span industries such as beauty, fashion, technology, health and food. In this role you will be executing against client scopes in partnership with our COE (Centre of Excellence) and Client Services team to deliver on time and on budget. Account Executives are experienced, curious and willing to learn in this quickly evolving space. Account Executives respond to and operate under Account Managers to support all aspects of execution (e.g. strategy, planning, and talent management). 

Passionate about culturally relevant and creative influencer & social strategies and knowledgeable about both social and paid engagement across tiers of influencers, this role is expected to deliver on client programming from start to finish under the guidance of the Account Manager and Client Services team. This includes supporting tactical timelines and plans, management of influencers, execution of marketing services and taking an analytical approach to measuring success in partnership with our BI & Measurement team. The Account Manager will also focus on developing their strategic planning skills in assisting the Client Services team. 

They also play a key role in utilizing our proprietary performance and measurement tools, leveraging their strong attention to detail to ensure they are effective in both independent and team working dynamics.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with account managers and supervisors to deliver on influencer asks;
  • Support client accounts with identification of influencers, outreach and contract negotiations, campaign monitoring and reporting;
  • Demonstrate some understanding of the influencer landscape and best practices for working with influencers/stay up to date with the latest influencer marketing trends;
  • Manage multiple influencer projects from identification to execution by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence;
  • Support influencer projects by working with appropriate specialties including DxI, Paid Performance, Creative to ensure seamless integration throughout programs;
  • Develop a clear understanding of clients goals and objectives and can translate that into actionable tasks and manage the outcome;
  • Using the brief, develop one-sheet summaries for influencers to be included as part of a recommendation to clients;
  • Consistently produce high quality internal and external content and contribute to creation of larger influencer communication plans;
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure expectations, guidelines and output meets internal and client expectations;
  • Manage your teams influencer marketing campaigns through VN’s proprietary platform;
  • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media management, public relations or similar
  • Able to perform well under pressure and a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate across a variety of platforms and mediums
  • Strong research, writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to interact with clients professionally and maintain relationships with influencers and content creators.
  • Post-graduate degree in related field (digital communications, PR, marketing communications)
