    Job Description

    In this 12‑month Accounting Analyst contract, we need someone who is precise, curious, and strong at problem‑solving. Your work will enhance reporting quality and support operational decision‑making.

    What you're responsible for:

    • Preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial statements, bank accounts, and complex balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate monthly and annual reporting.
    • Monitoring and reconciling inventory levels, physical counts, and site‑reported transactions to maintain accurate valuation and resolve variances.
    • Partnering and collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to explain variances, support decisions, and improve performance visibility.
    • Analyzing financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across financial and inventory results.
    • Improving and strengthening financial processes, efficiencies, and internal controls related to cash, bank activity, and inventory transactions.

    Qualifications

    To join our time:

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 3–5 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience.
    • You have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and inventory accounting practices.
    • You have advanced analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • You are proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting, with experience using ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, Maximo, Dayforce).
    • You are highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in fast‑paced environments.
    • You are bilingual in English & French preferred
