We’re looking for a driven, analytically-minded professional to join the Growth Analytics team! Growth Analytics at Affirm encompasses Product, Marketing, Operations, and Foundations. The team is responsible for the research, reporting, and experimentation vital to build outstanding consumer-facing and merchant products.  Specifically, this role is for the Foundations analytics team focused on optimizing the customer servicing experience. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an eagerness to collaborate with different teams, curiosity to learn more every day, and patience to work through difficult problems.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Affirm consumer and merchant network to craft business and product strategies in order to define our consumer loyalty strategy 
  • Leverage SQL and data modeling to build out loyalty KPIs development, automated reporting, dashboards, forecast
  • Monitor platform performance against OKRs, and support investigative/exploratory analyses 
  • Work cross-functionally with business domain analysts on experiment design, deployment and analyses (A/B)
  • Partner closely with data, eng and infra teams to provide tracking requirements, understand how existing data is tracked and develop appropriate data pipelines to support reporting and measurement
  • Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using various advanced analytical and statistical techniques
  • Provide insight into growth opportunities based on analysis through internal and external research, and a close monitoring of the program's performance
  • Support loyalty programs roadmap by partnering with product, engineering, marketing, finance -  identifying key growth opportunities, scoping the impact, supporting trade-off decisions with data

What We Look For

  • 1 - 4 years of experience in a business focused analytically-driven role (analytics, consulting, finance, data science, etc.), consumer behavior experience preferred
  • Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency and experience writing complex SQL (CTE/subquery, joins)
  • Experience building and developing reports using BI tools such as Sigma, Looker, Excel, Python, etc. 
  • Strong understanding of relational database and best practices to develop data models for tracking and measurement
  • Working knowledge with experiment design including hypothesis setting, user sizing and result analysis
  • Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment


Base Pay Grade - I

Equity Grade - 3

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).

CAN base pay range per year: $90,000 - $130,000

Location - Remote Canada
