Role Summary
Sophos is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to join our North America channel marketing team. At Sophos, we put partners at the center of how we go to market, and this role is critical to helping our partners drive growth while protecting customers from today’s evolving cyber threats.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Channel Sales and partner stakeholders across the U.S. and Canada to plan and execute partner marketing programs that drive pipeline, strengthen partner engagement, and support meaningful security outcomes. This is a hands-on, collaborative role for a marketer who enjoys turning strategy into action, delivering measurable results, and taking ownership of partner programs. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, where success is driven through ownership, cross-functional influence, and strong execution with partners. Success in this role looks like engaged, activated partners who consistently execute joint marketing programs that produce measurable pipeline and net-new customer growth.

This role reports to the Director of Channel Marketing, North America
What You Will Do
- Own partner marketing outcomes for a focused portfolio of high-priority partners in North America aligned to channel sales and regional marketing goals to drive pipeline and new customer growth. Priority partners may include national solution providers, strategic VARs, and high-growth regional partners across commercial, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
- Plan and execute high-impact partner demand generation and go-to-market programs, leveraging established Sophos frameworks while identifying opportunities to adapt, optimize, or pilot new approaches with priority partners.
- Work closely with channel sales, partner managers, field marketing, and product teams to deliver joint marketing plans that drive measurable partner-sourced pipeline, with a strong focus on net-new customer acquisition.
- Build strong relationships with priority partners through deep engagement, enablement and consistent program execution that amplifies the Sophos value proposition.
- Own partner marketing budgets and MDF, using performance data and partner insights to measure results, optimize programs, and maximize ROI.
- Use AI-driven tools to streamline workflows, analyze partner performance, and scale execution across multiple partner programs without sacrificing quality or impact.
- Expected travel: 15–20%
What You Will Bring
- 3–5 years of partner or channel marketing experience, with hands-on experience supporting partner-led or co-marketing programs; experience working with national or strategic partners is a plus.
- Experience designing, executing, and optimizing partner marketing programs that support pipeline growth and partner success.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, and partner teams to deliver shared goals.
- Comfortable using CRM and marketing platforms (Salesforce, PowerBI, Asana) to analyze partner performance, assess MDF ROI, and optimize programs based on pipeline and conversion data.
- Experience using AI-powered tools and automation to improve efficiency, generate insights, and enhance execution across marketing programs
- Clear, practical communication style to build trust with internal stakeholders and partners and translate marketing programs into actionable plans.
- Intellectual curiosity with an interest in cybersecurity, AI-enabled security capabilities, and a desire to learn and grow in a partner-first environment.
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $95,000 to $158,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
