Ready to build efficient data pipelines and turn raw data into actionable insights?

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team. Our Business Intelligence team is responsible for giving actionable insights to different internal business units and enabling them to make data-driven decision making.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data availability, accuracy, and accessibility across the organization. This role is crucial for establishing a solid data foundation, enhancing performance, and driving strategic and operational goals through accurate, actionable insights.

As our Senior Data Engineer, you will:

  • Strategize and manage scalable data pipelines to address immediate and long-term BI needs.
  • Collaborate with analytics engineers to create data models that adapt to business needs, optimizing architecture.
  • Develop, test and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into a cloud data warehouse.
  • Enhance pipeline performance, scalability, and reliability while addressing bottlenecks proactively.
  • Implement robust data validation and transformation processes to maintain high-quality datasets.
  • Oversee security, access control, and data integrity through defined procedures and continuous validation.

Here is what will qualify you for the role:

  • 5+ years of experience in Data and/or Business Intelligence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with strong experience in ETL and data pipeline development.
  • Proficiency in SQL, cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and hands-on expertise in data integration tools (e.g., dbt, Apache Airflow).
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and integration best practices, along with demonstrated success in designing and managing complex data systems.

What would make you stand out:

  • Experience with Salesforce and Workday data integration.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate business needs into concepts for diverse audiences and to collaborate effectively within a BI team with developers and analysts.
