 Job Description: 

The Director of Integrated Marketing Strategy is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the development and optimization of integrated marketing strategies to elevate the brand, enhance customer engagement and support business growth and optimizations.

The Director will combine technical expertise with strong B2B&G SAAS business acumen and a proven record of driving strategic initiatives across a full marketing technology architecture.

You will collaborate with a global team of Marketing, Sales, I.T., Operations and Engineering experts to enable the creation of comprehensive customer and partner journeys.

This role will create the plan, roadmap and lead the execution to enable the marketing organization to plan efficiently & effectively, create & produce, manage, deliver & activate, and report & derive insights in service of Blackberry Secure Communications go-to-market through an optimized combination of people, process, and technology.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership in the development and leading integrated marketing strategies and narratives aligned with the company’s overall business objectives, brand positioning, and customer needs.

Stay up to date on emerging marketing trends, technologies, and industry best practices, providing regular cascades of key findings to leadership team.

Introduce innovative marketing techniques and tools to keep the company ahead of the competition and enhance go-to-market campaign and operational effectiveness.
 

MarTech Architecture Guidance

  • Provide expert leadership on the architecture, design, and best practices for the Marketing Technology stack.
  • Advise on API integrations, system optimizations, and scalability to ensure a seamless and efficient marketing ecosystem.

Change Management Leadership

  • Champion change management initiatives to ensure internal teams adopt new tools, technologies, and strategies.
  • Develop training, communication, and support materials to foster successful transitions and usage of new processes.

Implementation Support

  • Offer strategic and tactical guidance during the implementation of new marketing technologies and solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all solutions are executed effectively, meeting business requirements and timelines.

Continuous Improvement

  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and refine strategies to achieve better outcomes.

Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability within the marketing team.

Qualifications
 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in integrated marketing, with at least 5 years leading marketing technology stack strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven success in creating and leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, traditional, events, etc.).
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and leading large-scale, complex marketing initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of data-driven marketing, with a focus on performance metrics, analytics, and ROI.
  • Experience in customer segmentation, targeting, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and people skills.

  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
