Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Financial Analysis (FP&A) to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.

Join a team that drives financial excellence across Nissan Canada. As a Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis—supporting data‑driven decisions that directly influence profitability and operational success. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail‑oriented professional looking to grow within a dynamic, cross‑functional environment.

A Day in Life:   

  • Prepare and review monthly financial performance, forecasts, and annual budgets.

  • Develop monthly reporting packages and conduct variance analysis, explaining results versus plan in partnership with business units.

  • Provide Return on Investment (ROI) analysis to support operational departments and strategic initiatives.

  • Assist in developing and coordinating annual FMI, G&A, and CAPEX budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines.

  • Review expenditure requests by analyzing cost‑benefit considerations and coordinating finance approvals.

  • Coordinate preparation and reporting of operating expenses.

  • Prepare journal entries and accruals to support accurate monthly financial close.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

  • 1 to 3 years of finance experience. Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, business plan evaluation, and financial reporting.

  • Advanced Excel skills (VBA, Power Query, Power BI) and proficiency with office software applications.

  • Financial modeling capabilities and analytical problem‑solving skills

Desired:

  • Actively pursuing a professional accounting designation (CPA).

  • Experience working with multiple business units or corporate groups.

  • Ability to explain complex financial information clearly and persuasively

Salary Range:

$67,497.00 - $83,412.00

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus, benefits, and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
