The Finance Transformation Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and performance of the finance function within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of finance operations, process optimization, and change management. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, leverage technology to drive transformation, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Transformation Strategy: Develop and execute finance transformation strategies that support organizational goals, focusing on process improvement, digitalization, and cost optimization. 
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline finance operations, reduce complexity, and improve accuracy and timeliness in reporting. 
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies across the finance organization. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance, IT, and service line leaders, to understand business needs and align finance transformation initiatives accordingly. 
  • Technology Integration: Drive the implementation and optimization of finance-related technologies (such as ERP systems, financial planning tools, and automation solutions) to support transformation objectives. 
  • Project Management: Lead finance transformation projects from inception to completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, and progress tracking. 
  • Data and Analytics: Utilize data analytics and financial metrics to assess current performance and measure the impact of transformation initiatives on the finance function. 
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of transformation projects and any associated risks or issues. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or related certification, such as CPA, CFA, or PMP, is a plus). 
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, finance transformation, consulting, or related roles, with a strong background in finance operations and process improvement. 
  • Proven track record of managing finance transformation projects, including technology implementation and process reengineering. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Solid project management skills, including experience with agile methodologies and project management software. 
  • Knowledge of finance technologies, such as NetSuite and PowerBI are a must.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) -support all employees/clients throughout the Americas.
