We want a motivated person interested in deeply understanding the NAND product line, customer base, and product approaches. Joining the NAND PLM finance team, you will help maintain the Micron product portfolio’s long-term financial well-being. This position is dynamic, highly visible within the company, and allows influence over executive-level decisions.

You will be an important member of the Product Development Team (PDT) and Product Core Team. These teams focus on delivering successful and competitive products that improve our NAND roadmap. Your main responsibility will be to offer the NAND business financial leadership and controls. You will evaluate and implement long-term business strategies. Finance’s role in product lifecycle management is to act as a trusted business partner. You will guide the PDT and Product Core Teams to increase return on investment. This involves questioning value propositions and thoroughly testing cases with different approaches.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working together with diverse groups such as Business Units, Engineering, Global Operations, Engineering Finance, Ops Finance, Product Management, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure program success.

  • Bringing to bear your financial expertise and business insight to understand, illustrate, and recommend roadmap decisions to Executive Leadership and Senior Management.

  • Contributing to monthly and quarterly Executive and Senior Leadership reviews including: Program return on investment reviews, profitability reviews, strategic customer reviews, and detailed cost reviews.

  • Directly contributing to Micron’s success and leadership in the memory and storage business.

  • Bringing your prior experiences from finance and non-finance roles alike to provide alternative viewpoints and methods to solve problems and grow the business.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analytics, and/or strategic finance roles.

  • Diligent, highly analytical, and motivated individual who desires to learn about business and product details.

  • Ability to build positive relationships across the Finance team and our partner organizations.

  • Comfortable working with imperfect information in a dynamic environment to guide decision-making.

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA/Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field is a bonus.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in reporting tools and ERP systems such as TM1, Snowflake, PowerBI, SAP, Teamcenter, SQL, VBA.

  • Proven ability to interact with and influence senior leaders, peers, and cross-functional business partners to guide efficient product and roadmap strategy.

  • Provides actionable insights and drives cross-functional accountability.

  • Experience building complex financial models and powerful presentations that succinctly illustrate key messages and business drivers.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$117,000.00 - $264,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
