The Role
Versaterm is currently seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst focusing on our Go-To-Market (GTM) team. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be partnering with executive leaders across the Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to analyze Versaterm’s Go-To-Market strategies and help drive market capture and revenue growth. This role is strategic, impactful, and highly critical.

The Financial Analyst (GTM) is a key member of both the company’s Finance and GTM teams and will be a key influencer of our revenue growth. What You’ll Do
•    Own Go-To-Market Financial Models (SAAS) for the entire Company
•    Build and maintain GTM financial models and analysis of our various business scenarios, markets, and customer and product segments
•    Conduct in-depth marketing, government affairs, sales and partner success performance analysis, to drive prospect engagement, lead generation, sales & customer retention
•    Develop key operational and financial indicators of success for GTM based upon the financial models and in-depth analysis conducted.
•    Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for GTM team Company leadership to aid decision-making
•    Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support the Company’s GTM team as required
•    Collaborate with GTM leadership to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts aligned with the company's strategic objectives
•    Regularly monitor actual performance against forecasts and budgets, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations 
•    Support Sales Team with RFP analysis and Discount approvals
•    Assist the Business Development team with lead generation, particularly at the top of the funnel

What You’ll Bring
•    Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration - Finance or related fields.  Strong academic record with relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA or MBA
•    3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis and planning, preferably with direct exposure to or analysis of Go-To-Market function for high-growth tech-enabled services or SAAS industries
•    Expert-level skill and proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•    Ability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize tasks as needed. 
•    Strong time-management skills and an ability to multi-task
•    Excellent written/verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
•    Proactive and always remaining curious and not afraid to ask questions. 
•    Ability to think outside the box for ways to improve current processes
•    Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Impress Us With
•    The ability to summarize data into visual dashboards using charts, graphs, and trend analysis
•    Prior Knowledge of SalesForce, Intacct or other accounting systems
•    Strong technical skills, particularly with Excel, Visual Basic, SQL, PowerBi or Tableau
•    High degree of curiosity and intrinsic motivation
