About Corgi

At Corgi, we’re building the first fully automated insurance carrier.

We’re rebuilding the insurance industry from the ground up—and we’re looking for early-career sales reps who can sell water to a pond. If you’re willing to work harder than you ever have before, want to do sales in person, and thrive in an always-on environment, this is a ground-floor opportunity to help build what we believe will be a $100B+ company.

We’re well-funded and backed by top investors, with a team made up of exceptional talent from around the world. We don’t care about titles or traditional career paths—we care about results, ownership, and hunger.

We’re scaling our Startup Insurance product—designed specifically for founders and early-stage companies. You’ll be talking directly with startup CEOs, operators, and decision-makers across industries as we push hard to define and dominate this market.

The Role

This is a Founding BDR role for our Startup Insurance line. You’re not inheriting a script or a mature process—you’re helping build the outbound motion from scratch.

Your job is simple but demanding: generate pipeline. You’ll be on the phones, testing messaging, booking meetings, and feeding real market feedback back into the product and sales motion.

We are in-person only and full-time in Dallas or Salt Lake City.

What You’ll Do
  • Make 100+ outbound calls per day to startup founders and operators.

  • Set 15+ qualified meetings per week and join demos with AEs.

  • Own CRM hygiene and next steps until deals are closed.

  • Rewrite, test, and refine scripts in real time—keep what converts, kill what doesn’t.

  • Learn the startup insurance landscape quickly and speak confidently with founders.

  • Work closely with sales leadership to iterate on ICP, messaging, and outreach.

What We’re Looking For
  • Hard workers and fast learners who want a serious career in sales with plenty of growth opportunities.

  • Comfortable with rejection, repetition, and pressure.

  • Confident speaking with founders and executives.

  • Self-motivated and accountable—you don’t need hand-holding.

  • Excited by building something new rather than being managed at a big company.

No prior insurance experience required—we’ll teach you the industry.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $60-70k base with a $100–150k OTE.

  • Clear AE promotion track in 2–3 months.

  • Once you’re full-time, we’re open to conversations beyond salary and commission.
