Position Summary:

This role leads the end-to-end development of marketing programs and content to accelerate the buyers’ journey from discovery to retention. Works across multiple channels to deliver highly engaging marketing campaigns. The global marketing manager will work closely with the Platform Marketing team to define campaign requirements and digital channels, internal and external resources to manage creative development, and production and execution teams to ensure impactful deployment.

Campaign Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop global campaign strategies aligned with the organization’s go-to-market (GTM) and business objectives, target personas, and key industries.

  • Identify and prioritize campaigns to capitalize on market trends and competitive dynamics.

  • Define clear goals, timelines, and KPIs for each campaign, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Campaign Execution and Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of multi-channel campaigns, including email, paid media, events, social media, website, and content marketing.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure global campaigns are effectively localized and culturally relevant.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless and impactful campaign delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with product marketing, content, communications and creative teams to develop compelling assets and channel-appropriate marketing messages.

  • Work closely with GTM strategy teams to ensure campaigns drive measurable pipeline growth.

  • Align with data and analytics teams to track campaign performance and ROI.

Performance Optimization:

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and analyze results to optimize for engagement, lead generation, and conversions.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for future campaigns to enhance effectiveness.

  • Maintain dashboards to communicate campaign effectiveness to stakeholders.

Market and Competitor Insights:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to run innovative and differentiated campaigns.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop collaborative campaign plans with global and local stakeholders for contact acquisition, lead generation, and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Manage campaign execution, tracking, and reporting with a focus on GTM objectives.

  • Create project briefs and campaign content with a customer-first perspective, integrating inputs from multiple stakeholders.

  • Use agile techniques to implement a management system for project accountability, including cadence meetings and sprints.

  • Work with execution teams, including regional and global functions, to deploy content and drive engagement.

  • Measure campaign and content effectiveness, providing improvement insights to marketing strategy leaders and regional teams.

Key Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's in marketing, Communications, Business or related fields

  • 5-7 years of experience in similar marketing roles with proven success

  • Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills

  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity

  • Self-starter who is committed to the job and seeks empowerment and accountability

  • Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, events and projects

For applicants in the province of Ontario: Trend Micro Canada is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary for this role is CAD $90,000.00 - $120,000.00. A candidate’s final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors to include, but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
