We are seeking an In-House Legal Counsel to support the company’s legal needs across a variety of matters, including contracts, compliance, and risk management. This role will work closely with business leaders and external counsel to ensure that Partner One’s operations remain compliant, efficient, and protected.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including software licensing, partnership, vendor, and procurement contracts.
  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to management and internal teams, ensuring business decisions are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support compliance initiatives and help implement internal policies across the organization.
  • Assist in managing disputes and litigation in coordination with external counsel.
  • Contribute to intellectual property management, including maintaining records for trademarks, copyrights, and other IP assets.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and communicate potential impacts to relevant teams.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on contract standards, compliance obligations, and legal best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, HR, and operations teams to provide practical legal solutions aligned with business goals
Requirements

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate law, software contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Active membership in a relevant Bar association.
  • Proven track record in negotiating complex agreements and managing legal risks.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property law, especially in the software sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
