Job Title: HR Business Partner, Canada & US

Overview:
NCR Voyix is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Canada, which will also support the US. The HR Business Partner is responsible for creating and implementing HR strategies that drive business results. They serve as a liaison between the HR department and the business side of the company, providing guidance on HR policies, performance management, employee relations, and organizational change initiatives. HRBPs are also involved in coaching managers on effective leadership practices and ensuring compliance with HR regulations.
Position Summary:
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Provide strategic advice on HR matters to senior leaders and managers.
- Facilitate performance management processes and support organizational change initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HR regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and measure existing HR procedures and policies.
- Coach managers on effective leadership practices.
- Lead and manage employee relations programs, ensuring alignment with company policies and Canadian labor regulations.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, providing fair and timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and prepare reports for senior management.
- Position required to act as change agent in the organization, sponsoring change initiatives in support of organizational evolution.
- Experience working in a union environment.
- Handle escalated issues within HR Shared Services that cannot be resolved by HR Representatives to employee and manager overall HR support. This includes all matters under the support of HR that are not resolved in Tier I.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian labor laws and regulations.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools.
