SCOPE OF THE POSITION
The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting Affinity Group Canada’s Sales organization by driving timely lead follow up, customer communication, and sales execution support. This role focuses on inbound sales activity, promotion and product communication, and accurate CRM management to ensure strong customer engagement and pipeline integrity.
This is not a cold calling role. It is well suited to a highly organized, detail oriented individual who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys supporting sales teams, and values accuracy, responsiveness, and relationship building.
The Inside Sales Representative works closely with Client Managers and the broader Sales team to ensure customers are informed, opportunities are followed through, and sales data is maintained at a high standard.
KEY EXPECTATIONS OF THE ROLE
• Follow up on inbound sales leads and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate promotions, special offers, and new product information to customers
• Support Client Managers by reinforcing current programs and sales initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and opportunities in CRM
• Build rapport with customers via phone and email across multiple levels of an organization
• Develop strong product knowledge across Affinity Group brands and represented clients
• Provide general sales support as required to support team priorities
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Post secondary education in Business, Commerce, or a related field preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer service
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Confident and professional communicator with strong verbal and written skills
• Comfortable explaining product features and benefits
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web based business tools
• Experience using CRM systems an asset
• French language skills considered an asset
WORK ENVIRONMENT – HYBRID ROLE
This position is based out of Affinity Group Canada’s Richmond Hill, ON office and operates in a hybrid work environment. The Inside Sales Representative is expected to work both remotely and in office, with regular in person collaboration required to support Sales and Client Management teams. The role involves ongoing interaction with internal partners and customers and requires strong communication, organization, and accountability.
