We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team, based in one of Aggreko’s European locations (Saint Michel, Moerdijk, Dorsten, Bucharest, Milan, or Barcelona), to provide legal expertise and support our European division in driving business growth and operational success.

What you’ll do:

Review, draft, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, rental contracts, service agreements, and procurement contracts

Advise on legal matters for tenders, disputes, litigation, real estate, and treasury, including corporate guarantees

Deliver practical, commercially aligned legal advice that supports business goals and mitigates risk

Ensure compliance with legal governance and regulatory requirements, including ethics and anti-bribery, in conjunction with our Compliance Director

Support and train teams across sales, operations, engineering, and procurement on legal best practices

Maintain legal entities and manage external legal providers as needed

Monitor and assess changes in legislation to keep the business well-informed and compliant
You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Master's degree in International Law or related field, with post-qualification experience (ideally in-house at a multinational)

Up to 5 years’ experience in a legal role, with strong contract law and commercial negotiation skills

Fluent in English (written and spoken); another European language (e.g., Dutch) is highly desirable

Strong commercial awareness, able to offer legal advice in a pragmatic and solution-focused way

Excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly

A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environment
