Overview

Rebel.com is on the hunt for a strategic, creative, and data-driven Manager of Brand and Marketing to elevate our brand and product offerings in a highly competitive domain and hosting industry. This role is part storyteller, part strategist, part dot-connector—bringing our products to life in a way that’s both emotionally resonant and razor-sharp in positioning.

You’ll lead the charge on brand messaging, go-to-market strategies, and campaigns that don’t just shout louder, but speak smarter—making sure the people we serve truly get what we do, and why it matters.

You’ll also be one of our key voices out in the world—representing Rebel at industry events like ICANN, deepening partnerships with registries and stakeholders, and making sure our brand feels as credible as it is compelling.

This is a roll-up-your-sleeves, make-something-meaningful kind of role. Perfect for someone who loves shaping stories, thrives on strategy, and knows how to market with both heart and hustle.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing & Messaging Development

Develop clear, differentiated, and customer-centric product positioning for all Rebel.com offerings.

Translate complex technical capabilities into simple, relatable value propositions that resonate with different customer segments.

Continuously refine messaging based on customer feedback, competitive insights, and campaign performance.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

Own and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, from positioning to launch plans, ensuring seamless cross-team execution.

Collaborate with product, support, and sales teams to gather insights and align messaging.

Lead the development of campaign briefs for creatives to bring product stories to life across channels.

Campaign Planning & Performance

Develop integrated campaigns (in collaboration with product teams and creative agencies) that drive awareness, acquisition, and retention.

Define campaign KPIs, oversee performance tracking, and optimize based on data insights.

Maintain an ongoing marketing calendar aligned with business goals, seasonal trends, and product launches.

Customer Insights, Market Research & Industry Trends

Gather and synthesize customer insights through research, surveys, interviews, and data analysis.

Stay ahead of industry trends, customer pain points, and competitor positioning to evolve our messaging and approach.

Represent Rebel.com by attending conferences and key industry events, maintaining strong registry and industry partnerships and bringing back insight to inform messaging, product development, and strategic planning.

Content & Asset Development

Collaborate with creative partners (agencies, freelancers) to produce brand and product content: landing pages, videos, emails, social assets.

Support internal content efforts (blogs, case studies, educational content) with strong product narrative direction.

Ensure all content reflects and reinforces our brand values and product value propositions.

Registry & Industry Relations

Act as a key liaison between Rebel.com and top-level domain registries, coordinating co-marketing opportunities, campaign collaboration, and relationship-building.

Travel internationally to attend ICANN and other domain industry conferences to foster partnerships, gather market intelligence, and represent Rebel.com in the global domain community.

Data, Measurement & Optimization

Define and track KPIs across brand and product campaigns.

Use analytics, A/B testing, and customer feedback to refine messaging, creative, and conversion paths.

Drive continual optimization of the customer journey and performance marketing.

Brand Strategy & Positioning

Define and maintain Rebel.com’s brand positioning, tone of voice, and messaging framework.

Develop storytelling that brings emotion and personality into the domain and hosting space.

Ensure all visual and verbal brand assets reflect our brand ethos across every touchpoint.

Who You Are

5+ years of experience in brand, product marketing, or a related strategic marketing role.

Strong understanding of SaaS, tech, or digital product landscapes — experience in hosting or domains is a major asset.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to translate technical product features into compelling, accessible value propositions.

Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, and support teams.
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.

Comfortable representing a brand externally — including traveling to international conferences and building high-level industry relationships.

Why Rebel.com

We’re not here to do business as usual. Rebel is in the middle of a reinvention—rolling up our sleeves, asking better questions, and building smarter solutions. It’s messy, exciting, and full of opportunity. If you’ve got an entrepreneurial streak, a curiosity for how things could work better, and a tendency to fix things instead of complain about them, we think you’ll fit right in.

We’re looking for people who are ready to level up—not in a loud, chest-thumping way, but with quiet confidence, good ideas, and a healthy dose of team spirit.

Kindness matters here. So does a bit of cheek. If even part of this sounds like you, let’s talk.
